not four of a kind, watch out on clifton beach
The are many beaches along the coast road out of Cape Town towards Hout Bay, and one of them was recently voted by the viewers of Discovery TV as the third best beach in the world. In our opinion the top 10 beaches of the world are all around Cape Town and Clifton would be about 5th.
Clifton Beach is however pretty spectacular, and is actually four little beaches or coves that is collectively known as Clifton Beach. But if you intend to sun bath on any of the Clifton Beaches there is a rule you need to know about first.
Each of the beaches is known as a number, beach one is for the jet set, models and beautiful people, go here if you want to ogle, but be warned you will also feel inferior.
Beach two is again for the beautiful people but has a more relaxed feel, so no big dents to the ego and only sligtly less spectacular ogling to be had.
Beach three is for gays, and don't be suprise to see some of them with not a scrap of material covering their bodies. Rates high on the ogling stakes if you like that sort of thing, but low on street cred. Have you seen the size of some of them lesbians?
Beach four is for the people who want to play it safe, its for families, its low on the ogling stakes, unless you like moms, but you will not feel lacking and do not have to worry about people staring at you.
Now the only trick is to work out which is beach one, two, three and four, get it wrong and you could be in for a very interesting visit to the beach. Safety tip, chose one of the beaches at either end.
