cote azure or what?

Camps bay, the next beach along from Clifton, towards Hout Bay, really is Cape Towns Cote Azure. The beach is always kept immaculate and the beach front cafes and bars are very up market and classy, try Blue above the petrol station, doesn't sound that good but its one of the top sea food restaurants in the area. We have eaten there and the food was brilliant, but you do have to book a few days ahead if you want to be sure of a table. Friends who dined there 12 months ago saw Bob Geldof there, obviously he was having a break from feeding the world and took the opportunity to feed himself.

On the beach you will find messieurs, sun beds and sun shades. The beach is also used to stage beach volley ball competitions, when they erect large grandstands.

Camps Bay is a very busy busy place and finding a car parking space after about 10am is a bit of a sport in itself, one I have found to be almost impossible. Although I should solve the problem once I get the Harley back on the road, as I have spotted a section of grass between the road and the beach where I can squeeze it onto.
